  • Prepare weekly production plans in coordination with overall master schedule.
  • Release work orders to shop floor and reschedule orders as required due to customer request, purchasing lead times and machine capacity.
  • Maintain surveillance over orders in process to keep informed of manufacturing status.

  • Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Perform inspections.
  • Develop methods for first article and in-process inspections.
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials and product, assist in determining root cause and implementing corrective actions.
  • Review measurement data reports supplied with components and communicate out of spec findings.
  • Create visual defect standards.
  • Evaluate production capabilities, resolve technical problems and recommend improvements.
  • Audit final assemblies.
  • Create, manage and resolve corrective action reports with suppliers.
  • Drives improved product quality by developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions and overseeing successful implementation.

  • Perform and document inspections on coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
  • Oversee maintenance activities required for all departments.
  • Establishes accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation and ensures compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
  • Assist in development of FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), and Control Plans.

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or closely related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience of progressive technical experience.
  • Demonstrated blueprint reading capability and working knowledge of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Measurement capabilities (calipers, micrometers, height/bore/thread gages, etc).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Machine Assemblers - Entry Level to Experienced

MBW Assemblers are responsible for everything from sub-assemblies to complete assembly of one or more lines of equipment. This is not an assembly line role.
